BLOGGING ABROAD: SINGAPORE & UK I’ve just noticed: For the past year, most of my journal writing has taken place outside of Hong Kong. I think this is the most of I’ve ever travelled in such a short space of time, and I think this is the longest I’ve gone without updating my journal. Anyhow, I touched back down in Hong Kong a couple of days ago, after a week in Singapore. I went there with a team from The Vine to attend the Alpha Asia Pacific conference, as well as the first ever Worship Central conference in Asia. We had an absolutely brilliant time. Between all the appointments, meetings and sessions we went to, I really believe that something significant happened. I shan’t go into too much detail, as I’ve been blogging all about it at The Vine Band’s new website. Check it out here Prior to Singapore, I’d only just gotten back from the UK. Kayi and I were there for two weeks during Easter, to spend time with our families and sort out some wedding preparations. God is good, and we managed to get everything done that we needed to. We also had a chance to take a break from the busyness of Hong Kong, which consisted of fresh air and lots of eating! Not only that, but we were fortunate to be there when all the daffodils were in bloom (my favourite flower), and Kayi and I got to enjoy the sights and sounds of the countryside before flying back. All said and done though, it's great to be back in Hong Kong... back home - I miss it. |
